We make the pots, pans, and food from wood sourced from Forest Stewardship Council-certified forests and finish them with water-based paint. • Wood and fabric materials. We build the cookware and ingredients from wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The pretend oven mitt uses soft fabric so small hands can practice sliding it on and off.
• Cook and serve play. Preschoolers can drop the wooden food into a pan, stir it with a spoon, and pop on a lid. The pieces fit together easily for practicing everyday cooking routines at a play kitchen.
