James is ready to roll along the tracks in durable die-cast metal. We designed this push-along engine to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Thomas and Friends with styling from the classic series and All Engines Go. Children hook up the cargo car and push him along any Thomas and Friends track layout.

• Die-cast metal body. We make this large James engine out of die-cast metal so it has a solid weight in a child hand. It rolls smoothly across the floor or down the rails with a simple push.
• Attachable cargo car. The included cargo car hooks right onto the back of the engine. Plastic connectors let children hitch James to other Thomas and Friends trains, tenders, or cargo cars from their collection.
• Track compatibility. This push-along engine runs on all Thomas and Friends track sets. Children can add James to existing layouts or roll him along bare floors without needing any track at all.
• Hands-on railway play. Pushing the engine along the floor practices hand coordination and fine motor grip. Children invent their own Sodor delivery runs and train stories as they steer the cars along the line.
