Water play changes as a baby grows. We built this tub with a soft mesh sling for the earliest days, then an insert for unsteady sitters, and finally an open basin for toddlers up to 25 pounds. It fits inside most adult tubs and standard sinks.

• Four stages of bathing. The soft mesh sling cradles newborns over the water. As your baby gains head control, switch to the Sit-Me-Up insert to stop sliding. Remove both pieces when your toddler is ready to sit and splash in the deep basin.
• Two bath toys included. A squeeze bottle and a whale-shaped scoop come in the box. Babies can practice scooping, pouring, and rinsing during wash time, while the wide tub rim gives you a flat resting spot for washcloths and soap.
• Sink and tub fit. We sized the basin to sit flat inside most standard household sinks and full-sized adult bathtubs. The plastic molded shape keeps the water contained so you can wash your baby at counter height or down on the bathroom floor.
• Easy drain and hang hook. Pull the plug at the bottom of the basin to drain water directly into your sink or tub. An attached swivel hook on the rim lets you hang the entire tub on a shower rod or door to drip dry between uses.
