Children stack double-sided blocks inside the alligator and push down its snout to check the total. The side slot displays the resulting sum. We include ten colorful counting pieces that fit right into the base when play ends for the day.

• Double-sided counting blocks. Ten blocks feature printed numbers on one face and patterns of fish or dots on the other. Children count the small pictures, line up the blocks by size, and practice sequencing digits in order.
• Lower the snout. Stacking the blocks inside the column prepares the answer. When a child lowers the alligator head, the toy displays the total number in a window along the side of the frame.
• Storage in the base. All ten blocks slide into the base of the alligator when cleanup begins. Keeping the pieces together makes it easy to set up on a low table or carry across the rug.
